Jungle Cakes brings you the ultimate stocking filler. Bennie Presents: Welcome To The Jungle And to wet your appetite, heres a little sample. Hailing from Cardiff is Bennie. This fast-rising artists skill and technique has scored him bookings with Next Hype, Boomtown, Balter, Bassfest, Motion, and many more. While his production flair has picked up attention from a myriad of high-profile DJs, the drum & bass scene is quickly recognising the extremely impressive sounds of Bennie and the impact he is making. Now hes taking tracks from producers Deekline and Jah Cuzzi and putting his own unique style to them. Track 1 Evil Thing showcases his blending skills to the max. Paused subs over a crazy topper as the bassline comes and goes but works incredibly well Track 2 - Three little birds (Benni Jungle Remix) has the same Bob Marley vocals but with some huge vibration bass lines and tight hats. Echoed Fxs and long drops give this timeless classic a fresh feel. The 3rd track is Chatterbox. This has 90s rave written all over it. Sharp keys, dirty FXs and subs with a splash of ols school vocals, this track takes you on a journey. The penultimate track on this sampler is Ragga Funk. Upping the tempo, 1 word Skankalicious. Get out your chair, up up up. The final track is Selecta. With low basslines and vibrating risers, proof that this album is worthy of Santas list. First came the blinding flash of light. Then came the mushroom cloud, and then finally came the sound-pressure wave which rippled across the already destroyed landscape like a featherduster on a high shelf. The citys remaining population took little notice of this event, save for the fact that the shockwave detached some of their limbs and disrupted the proceedings of their ongoing competition. Fortunately, the Undead Champions League had a procedure for such an event - competitors knocked off of gym equipment could resume their series of reps with no penalty, while those who experienced partial dismemberment would be repaired and given a 15-minute break to allow time for the proper reintegration of the limb. There was, after all, no worry for any lack of time. Many had passed in the initial attack years ago, but a select few who had been closest to the center of the blast had experienced a profound transformation in the instant that they were stripped of their flesh, as an extreme macrodose of radiation unlocked latent psionic energies in their brains. They were all who remained of what had once been the human race, and in their newfound forms, they continued to find joy as they once had with tests of sportsmanship and skill now unbound by the evils of musculature and the lactic acid it produced. Undead Championship League matches could last for weeks, and as competitor #38 counted his 89,072nd pull-up on the high bar, the skeletal forms of the survivors erupted into a rattling chatter of cheers - a new world record of psionic power & mental fortitude had just been reached! NAIS returns to EATBRAIN with PULL UP, flexing his sound design muscles to present an impressive display of four-neurofunk sequences sure to inspire fervent dancefloor workouts for the fleshy bodies of the EATBRAIN horde. Calling all the Ladies, gentlemen and bassheads around the world. Have we got a treat for you with this latest Jungle Cakes release of Welcome to the Jungle. Weve taken 90 tracks. Thats right, 90 tracks of absolute bangers and handed them over to our very own JFB to mix, scratch and quite frankly, do what he does best with. Originally from Brighton, JFB is a 3 x world dmc dj champion, so it goes without saying that when asked to do a Welcome to the jungle album, he went all out. Armed with 2 turntables and a bucket load of skills, JFB takes massive hits like King of the Bongo and Bad Boys by Ed Solo and Deekline, Home Grown by Beat Assassins and 10 Steps by Kleu & solo and puts his very own spin on them. (pardon the pun). Other hits on the album include Redline the system by Morty & Jax with some seriously heavy bassline and some wicked vocals. Shine On by Origin8a, Propa & Benny Page, 3 pioneers of DnB all on one track. And Balang Beng by Punky Donch, adding some high tempo jungle to the mix. JFB has also thrown in 10 exclusive tracks of his own onto the album: Battlemaster, Lost jungle, The only Good System, Dappa Dan, Funky Dope, Going Home, One Blood, My Style, The Globulator and Upper cut. Theres now doubting this summer. With this album, your tents gonna be bouncing more than the festival itself. For licencing & label enquires, please contact Martin Flex: martin@hotcakesmusic.com

Jubei returns to his Carbon Music home with a first solo single in over 2 years. After some months working on loops, the elements lined up in just a few hours and Come To Me was born. Clinical simplicity dredged in groove with warm, driving subs. Lucille is next in signature Jubei style, expressing the utmost with the minimum; rising tension beset by haunting synths lead into brutal yet meditative stabs. Following the mega collab 12 with Goldie, Lenzman & Submotive last Summer, Jubei drops 2x cold cuts to close out 2024.
Ten years on from the release of his highly acclaimed, award-winning debut LP Emulation, Mefjus shares five of the albums biggest tracks with his label-mates at Critical for the 2024 remix treatment. A landmark album in the genealogy of drum & bass music, the hard, heavy and supremely technical tracks gathered together for the original Emulation set a new standard in sound design and pushed the conventions of the genre to the very limit. Mefjus himself reworks original title track Emulation, flaunting his untouchable studio skills by balancing frantic rolling drums and expertly engineered sub bass with a his trademark otherworldly sound design to unleash an almost impossibly energetic track. Legendary D&B producers Enei and Calyx take a tune each; with Enei reworking Suicide Bassline into ultra-hard, minimal jump-up monster, while Calyx injects his signature molten, twisted bass into Surrounded to make it all his own. Two of Criticals most recent recruits complete the package, with VISLA transforming Saturate from a moody roller into a gritty stomper and Bristol-based SMG bringing Change Of Mind featuring MC Maksim bang up to date in style.

MPH triumphantly returns to Night Bass with his colossal album, Refraction. This 15-track collection brilliantly blends UK Garage influences with 140, Jungle, Deep House and Bass House - a testament to MPHs raw talent. Following the success of two previously released singles, Funk Master and Endorphins, Refraction takes listeners on a captivating journey from start to finish. The UK-based rising star explains how, Throughout youll see a variety of environments which Ive captured on my phone and carefully picked to match with the energy of each track. For some of the more gritty bass tracks its quite dark and urban, meanwhile the softer UKG side of the album ties to rural landscapes/sunsets. If theres one thing MPH has mastered, its the art of storytelling through his music. The opening track sets the stage, kicking the album off with an atmospheric build straight from a bass jungle. Each subsequent track builds on this energy, showcasing MPHs mastery of crafting infectious melodies and basslines. Two guest artists add their own unique spin to their respective tracks. Tottenham-based MC Subten unleashes his flow on track North LDN, while the powerhouse collaboration with label boss AC Slater on track Lights On, promises to drop some jaws. MPH continues to exceed expectations, and Refraction is guaranteed to leave listeners wanting more with every listen. Distributed by Label Engine - www.label-engine.com

Long forgotten amidst the cragged slope of a dormant volcano, the ruins of an ancient temple stood firm in silent reverence. A millennia of lava flows had reforged its walls time and time again, warping the structures dimensions each time as stone was birthed and culled by the forces that were its primordial progenitor. For thousands of years this cycle had raged at the edges of the temple compound, and yet for thousands of years one singular structure had remained - the great bronze idol of the temples forgotten patron deity, untouched by the tongues of raging flame. There had been no true supplicants for hundreds of years, and only a scant few visitors had ever braved the rigorous journey along the obsidian-clad spines that lay below the temple even to simply gaze upon its ruined form. Thus it was that when a lone traveler clad in orange robes entered the inner transept of the Temple, his bare feet bloodied from the pilgrimage, the long-smoldering flame of devotion roared to life behind the eyes of the great statue as the volcanic ground quivered expectantly beneath it. With ritual pilgrimage completed by this stranger, a new age could now begin. Under the Gydras watchful eye, the lava would run again. GYDRA make a triumphant return to EATBRAIN as they reignite the flame of LAVA RUN, delivering a VIP mix of the famed track to delight of the EATBRAIN hordes eager ears. Meanwhile, label boss JADE unveils JADE VENOM and adapts the serpentine qualities of his new alias to remix GYDRAs IKRA, perhaps the most storied track within the labels extensive catalog. Together, the pairing makes for a release of unstoppable power, celebrating all that is EATBRAIN from front to back. Written by Gwen Kubik

SINFUL MAZE Presents: THE UNITY PARADOX SERIES II: ENTROPY WALLHACK ~ VIBES | SHAKE ft. NOTEQUAL ACT TWO - FRAME THREE The seekers stood before the Celestial once more, their discoveries laid bare. The ruins of the old world had offered relics of humanitys brilliance, and tools to rebuild what was lost. The uncharted territories had revealed truths older than civilization itself, whispers of a universal unity humanity had forgotten. The two threads intertwined, forming a tapestry of hope and challenge. The Celestial regarded them in silence, its form a shimmering nexus of light and thought, shifting with the weight of their revelations. CELESTIAL You return, not with answers, but with questions reframed. This is progress. Yet the journey is incomplete. Tell me—do you now understand the message? One seeker stepped forward. The message wasnt just a guide—it was a mirror. It reflected our potential but also our flaws. It showed us what we could become, but only if we confront what we are. Another added, The ruins taught us ingenuity, but also hubris. The uncharted lands reminded us of our smallness in the grand design, yet also our capacity for connection. The message wasnt just to act, but to unify. The Celestials light dimmed, as though considering their words. CELESTIAL Unity is not the absence of conflict but the harmony of discord. The tools you have found and the truths you have uncovered are the keys to your evolution. But a key is useless without the will to open the door.
