This latest release encompasses various disciplines and strips things down to a pure and introspective heads down dance floor vision. Title track Flicker has all that usual Slam drive and attitude as rolling drums and sharp percussion are bolstered with a pulsing, warping synth hook. Volitantdelves deep as subaquatic atmospheres and tones are processed perfectly, delivering a backdrop of hypnotism. Spanish based LIDVALL makes his Soma Records demos with a unique and concussive 4 track EP titled, Abandoned. An artist on the rise his skilfully produced tracks have seen him become a firm favourite amongst the techno community and this EP further cements his skills as one to watch over the coming years. Crack makes a no nonsense opening of release with rapid fire percussive elements firing across energetic and electrifying synths. Like To Your Story has a more deep and hypnotic feel as spacious and carefully constructed percussion loops out throughout the track, crafting the perfect DJ tool. Title track Abandoned picks up on a more groove focussed tip with skipping hi hats dancing over melodic structures.
