Were delighted to welcome back Taipei-based DJ and producer William Trilogy to Piston Recordings with his superb new release, I Will Never Get Enough which follows his last outing here with For The Human Race. A passionate advocate for the soul of House Music, William Trilogy expertly blends its classic foundations with modern production techniques. His sound strikes the perfect balance between timeless grooves and fresh innovation, crafting tracks that speak to both the genres past and its future. His belief is simple, a great dance track should move you—literally. With this philosophy at the core of his music, were always excited to have him back, delivering yet another standout release. I Will Never Get Enough opens the release, revealing an instant classic house spirit with weighty kick drums and a chunky analogue bassline that grooves with raw, timeless energy. Crisp hi-hats and intricate rhythmic percussion give the beat a lively, organic feel, while delicate piano melodies dance lightly over the top. Mesmerizing scat-style vocals, richly processed with FX, weave through the mix blurring the lines between rhythm and melody. KIDPLUGG aka Kuli Lindelani Mophali, is a rising South African music producer and student DJ from Kempton Park, Johannesburg. He makes his Piston Recordings debut with the superb Need 2 Tell U. Fusing Deep House, Garage, Deeper Dub, and Techno, he crafts a distinct sound that connects local roots with global appeal. While pursuing his education, KIDPLUGG continues to push musical boundaries, carving his place in the electronic scene with innovation and authenticity. Great to have him on board. Need 2 Tell U gets us underway, opening with a solid 909 thump, laying down a punchy foundation. Crisp hi-hats shimmer over the groove, setting a vibrant pulse before playful chords weave their way into the mix, joined by silky high strings and various vocal snippets. A thick analogue bassline locks everything together, adding a lush, rolling depth while the break strips back the rhythm to reveal delicate 303 sequences, floating in an airy, dreamlike atmosphere before building back into the main groove. Swerve In The Groove rounds out the release, introing with a heavy, chesty kick drum, setting a commanding tone right from the start. Jon Lee returns to Piston Recordings alongside a trio of collaborators with the superb Amigos EP. Since the mid-90s, Jon Lee has been a staple of the U.S. and Canadian house scenes, founding Concepts Records and co-founding the influential Tilted Records label. A seasoned DJ and producer, hes played across major cities worldwide and continues to release music on top labels. Jon also hosts a monthly show on StromKraft Radio and collaborates with other artists under the Westside Legacy project. Lee is joined on this release by label newcomers Sherman C and Keith Chambers who both bring a wealth of experience to the production process. Sherman has been active in Seattles dance scene since 92 and spins obscure vinyl across many genres. He owns Selector Records & Apparel, Capitol Hills hub for underground vinyl, and has shared the stage with DJ Garth, Mark Farina, DJ Czech, and others. Keith also spins regularly and continues to wow the crowds across the north west coast. Vancouver-based artist, Andromo, also returns to the label, taking the reins on remix duties and offering a standout rework. Known for his refined sound and growing global support, hes steadily carved out a strong presence in the scene. Jon and Sherman C are up first with 1 For Lionel which opens with chunky drums and shuffling hi-hats, locking in a tight, flowing rhythm with layers of crisp percussion. Mesmerizing chopped vocal shots drift in and out, adding a hypnotic flair, while warm, loungy piano riffs bring a laid-back sophistication. Anchored by a thick, sub-heavy bassline, the groove rolls effortlessly making this perfect for late-night sessions. Next, Jon is joined by Andromo on the The Good Times. Driven by punchy kick drums and tribal-inspired slapped percussion, this deep house groover pulses with rhythmic energy. Rolling hi-hats and a thick, plucky bassline keep the momentum steady, while warm chords and diva-style vocal shots add a stylish, soulful edge. The break offers a smooth, inviting pause—rich with warmth and subtle tension—before building seamlessly back into the groove. A perfect blend of dancefloor heat and deep, emotive vibes. Rounding out the release, Jon gets together with Keith Chambers on Glimpse. Once again, Miguel shines, showcasing his signature fusion of deep, funky, and jackin house, continuing to push his sound forward while staying true to timeless grooves. His journey in electronic music began at 19 when he first stepped behind the decks, quickly gaining recognition for his vibrant and eclectic sets at Portugals most iconic clubs. Since 2013, he has been making waves with releases on top labels, and were proud to have him as a long-standing contributor to Piston Recordings. A true force to be reckoned with, and we cant wait to hear whats next. Dirty People opens the release, delivering a deep house groover with sharp claps, slicing hi-hats, and chunky kicks laying down a tight foundation. Warm sweeping chords and a thick subby bassline anchor the groove as classic chord stabs give a nod to house tradition, while cool vocal shots add attitude and flair. The vibe is elevated by vibrant trumpet motifs and lush big band-style string swells A definite must have, no doubt. Take It Slow closes out the release, introing with punchy kick drums, shuffling hi-hats, and rhythmic percussion that set an infectious groove.
