Italian duo Supernova return to their Lapsus Music with their new Electric Boogie EP, a two-track release that encapsulates their signature blend of groove-infused house and forward-thinking production. The title track, Electric Boogie, delivers a pulsating rhythm layered with dynamic synths and a bassline designed to energize dancefloors. Its intricate percussion and evolving textures showcase Supernovas knack for crafting tracks that are both engaging and danceable. On the flip side, The Bloom offers a deeper, more melodic journey. With its lush harmonies and subtle groove, the track provides a perfect balance to the EP, highlighting the duos versatility and depth in production. Supernovas continued evolution in the house music scene is further proved here with both tracks rooted in classic dancefloor sensibilities.
Lapsus Music is back with another standout EP this time from Philip Z. Dreamin opens up with a bubbly baseline and rapped vocals and female coos that bring a cool twist to the bright melodies. The bass rolls deep to make this one as emotional as it is physical. Palsy hits with a darker edge and more meaningfull bass, crisp drums and more tight vocals that bring a sleazy attitude. Both of these tunes are set for big things this summer.
Matteo Dentone lands on the seminal Lapsus Music label with his superb three-tracker, the Flow EP. Flow kicks off with a throwback 90s house baseline and is topped with sexy vocals as the crisp drum driving on. Its perfectly designed for mind and body, then Go brings a subtle sense of funk and is lit up with warm, rising chords and cool vocals that lock dancers in the groove. Blow then shuts down with Balearic chords and speedy drums that are perfect for summer dancing. All three of these tunes show Matteo Dentone continuing to lead from the front.
