An endless expanse of water unfolds to the limit of our gaze, losing itself at the edge between dream and reality. Vanishing sounds float like morning mist, with London-based Ryan Paul and his Blue Ocean EP, comprising two originals and two remixes by Havoc & Lawn (Solid Grooves Raw, Hellbent) and Javi Miramontes (Mindshake, MUSE). The lead track offers vague dubby stabs, chilled-out house grooves, and charming vocals, whilst Italys duo Havoc & Lawn opts for a gloomy, dark version with tight drums and glitchy elements. In contrast, Javi Miramontes brings some cosy vibes with feel-good trumpets and a deep-driving bassline for a laidback-terrace anthem. Closing the EP in style, Madman Movement provides B-side sensations with lush pads and shimmering synth lines, guiding you through an immersive journey that plunges into the depths of the late night.
