You all know Kleu. With a string of huge releases and remixes across Gorilla Warfare, Jungle Cakes and many more prestige labels, by this point the duo are well-established. The globe-trotting, funk-loving, music-with-a-message creating, UK/Thailand/Australia representative Filthy Philp might be a newer name to you though. And this is a hell of a way to get introduced. The sunlit sweetness of keys, guitars, brass and vocals in the intro have Mr Philps musical fingerprints all over them, setting us up for a soulful liquid roller. But then theres that ten tonne, scything bassline to add a whole different sub-rattling dimension. Configured for both raves and radio, this is going off in summer 2025. Flex Effect is back on Gorilla Warfare following up one of his biggest releases to date, 2024s Run the Dance EP. And, if you werent already paying attention to this producer, this is where you simply have to sit up and take notice. From the darkside brass and warehouse rave vibes of the intro, its immediately clear were being set up for something special and, when that hypodermic bassline shoots out of the speakers, that promise is more than fulfilled. Whatever your DnB sub-genre of choice, this is one that youre going to need to have at your fingertips ready to cue.
