Cheema — derived from the Italian cima (ˈʧima), as in cima di rapa, cima di cola, cima di Bitonto, etc. — serves as the human instrument that brings the traditions of Puglia to the club, utilizing electronic music as a universal language for cultural sharing. Since 1996, Cheema has been an integral part of the music scene, starting as a DJ, progressing to a producer, and eventually becoming a live performer with advanced sound management technologies. The acquisition of new live techniques has enabled Cheema to experiment and collaborate with over 60 musicians to date. This exploration has resulted in diverse musical proposals spanning various genres. Cheema extends the voice of Apulia worldwide with care and special attention, finely balancing the elegance of electronics with the rich tradition of local dialects. This delicate equilibrium exists on the spectrum between experimentation and a dancefloor atmosphere. Damme la Drette has a Balearic vibe with folkloric elements. The chords create an engaging, slightly hypnotic atmosphere that recalls early house sounds with a broken beat. Vocalist Ilaria Fuggetti sings in the dialect of the historic trading city of Taranto. On remix duties is former Gigolo Recordings hero Filippo Moscatello, aka DJ Naughty, who teamed up with Tolis, with whom he previously released on Russ Gabriels legendary Ferox imprint in the 90s. Their version takes a completely different direction, resulting in a track with a truly unique atmosphere—raw, stoic, and almost distorted at the low end, while melodic and sweet on top. This is their first output in some time, and theyve absolutely nailed it. Welcome back!
As summer fades into autumn, were excited to announce the upcoming release of our new album, Fløyelskveld. This album marks the second chapter in our trilogy, capturing our journey as Of Norway while reflecting on broader life themes. Sun God, the opening track of Fløyelskveld, is the first single leading up to the album. A piano-driven deep house beauty, it blends the classic and the modern with a stunning progression, accented by sprinkles of acid and a rumbling bassline. Following last years Smeigedag, Fløyelskveld (meaning velvet evening) explores the serene, bittersweet hours of dusk. Fløyelskveld will be released on November 22nd under Connaisseur Recordings, preceded by three singles, with the first dropping on September 27th.

As summer fades into autumn, were excited to announce the upcoming release of our new album, *Fløyelskveld*. This album marks the second chapter in our trilogy, capturing our journey as Of Norway while reflecting on lifes broader themes. Following last years *Smeigedag*, *Fløyelskveld* (meaning velvet evening) delves into the serene, bittersweet hours of dusk. The album mirrors the transition from childhood to young adulthood, blending deep house, electro, ambient, and dreamy soundscapes. Weve collaborated with our longtime friend Preben Olram on two tracks, adding even more depth and emotion to the project. *Fløyelskveld* will be released on November 22nd under Connaisseur Recordings, preceded by three singles, with the first dropping on September 27th. Much love, Of Norway / Vegard & Chris
