Basil OGlue - Close the Gate // Chronicles (feat. Phase Differences Time Management Skills) Basil OGlue returns with the brilliant Close the Gate // Chronicles EP - a deep dive into his signature sound, packed with atmosphere, energy, and absolutely no mercy for open gates. Close the Gate makes sure of that. Meanwhile, Phase Difference took chronicles a bit too literally, turning this release into an actual historical event by delaying it long enough for future generations to enjoy. But hey, whats a great story without a little suspense? Its finally here. No more delays. Probably.
Art of Letting Go transforms the exploration of deep emotions and experiences into sound. With its atmospheric beats and soaring melodies, the EP creates a journey through raw emotions. NSDA, the visionary electronic music label led by Anfisa Letyago, proudly presents Ikigai, the latest EP from boundary-pushing DJ and producer Keira Meier. This five-track collection explores the rich interplay between rhythm and emotion, combining hypnotic beats with conceptual and melodic undertones. A wanderer in the electronic music landscape, Keira began her journey playing records across Europe, from London to Berlin, while producing deep and melodic music. Later, in Milan, her sound evolved with explosive rhythms, acid influences, and pure techno energy. Her unique ability to blend past and present defines her productions, creating sonic spaces where body and mind converge. Inspired by the Japanese concept of reason for being, Ikigai reflects Keiras deep exploration of purpose through sound. From the raw energy of Machine Interaction to the introspective tones of Free Your Mind, the EP balances intensity with reflection. With Ikigai, I wanted to create music that connects with people on multiple levels—both emotionally and physically. Its about finding meaning in rhythm and sound, says Keira Meier. 07.10.21 > Claires Accessories has remixed Federations Venus, pitching it up to 170bpm + DJ Hyperdrive has played it on his Boiler Room Hard Dance 121 set. I am out for a run, listening on my bone conductors. What is this? It is fast. It is raw. It is animal. It has the thrash metal / crust-punk pace of psy, but without the trite robot farts + UFO samples. There are gabber kicks + Bladerunner riffs. It is cold + it is minimal. + then it is hard + it is beautiful. I want to hug a dog walker. 11.10.22 > SIOC has remixed Otto K (LOST182), Claires Accessories has reworked Steve Jones (LOST183), + Astral Bandits oneiric psy-gaze masterpiece Different Kind of Friend(LOST185) has broken all known BPM records for a Lost Language a-side. 21.12.22 > A quiet night in sharing music over a bottle of red, some shrooms, + a fish pie - Melissa + I had a moment listening to Matriarks Virvle. I have stuck it on a 2hr mix, alongside current faves from Pro Athlete, Mikkel Rev, Mac Declos etc / recent EL-EL signings. This is THE PULSE OF A TIMELESS WAVE. 28.04.23 > Matriark is DJing at COCYX in London. It is my 43rd birthday. The venue is an old office space in Tottenham that I worked in 15 years ago. It has since been turned into a nightclub + I find myself dancing where my desk used to be. Pissing on the ghost of a photocopier. I bore everyone with this synchronicity. Matriark drops Lost Tribes Gamemaster (HOOJ081), pitched up into the high 160s. It goes off. Drunk on meaning / a heavy dose of McKenna Mushrooms (Terrence / Paul) I fall into a fugue. I feel unreal. 11.9.23 > Thanks to a campaign by Trance vet J00F, Beatport have introduced a new genre tag - RAW TRANCE, + with EL-EL sat firmly in the uncooked camp, they have asked me to submit a video talking about it. I stand in a field and blabber on about - The sound. The art. The underground. + a NEW PUNK ENERGY(TM). When things are truly exciting, it is never just about the music. 10.12.23 > Holeigh loved the EL-EL promos. Shes gonna play Factorias Darkskye remix in Paris tonight. Said it sounds wicked at 155. 12.4.24 > Loving the Afgang Remix of Racket Sports. Almost donk when it breaks. (Donk-ish? Donk-y?). With the Nordic Echoes remix of Suns Horses, thats 2 killer cuts from Denmark. 1.10.24 > Dave Moth has reworked Dominions 11hrs + weve collaborated with Ulteriors Paul McGregor as SIDE WOUND. It is a dream. Paul Speedmaster Coppings remix of Locomotion (LOST193) has just been released, + the Vergil edit of DIFFERENT KIND OF FRIEND has racked up plays from new breed heavyweights KI/KI, Hyperdrive, + Charlotte de Witte. 10.12.24 > SIOC has remixed 3 classics from our back cat. The masters sound great. Hard to pick one, but Origin (LOST001) is 100\%\% going on the next EXHIBITION. 07.02.25 > I am sat in my local trying to write a blurb for this comp. All our raw cuts on one CD length mix. As usual, it is a fucking jigsaw. The running order - a puzzle. Until you find the corners. + the edges. + then it isnt. I keep a daily record in lined red + black. Dreams, shadows, cosmic love / loathing. The last 4 years are on the table in front of me. Everything takes forever. This is that. Never not was. BL 25.

Psychedelic energy and a powerful Eurotrance drive that pushes the track forward from start to finish. A dynamic collaboration between Cosmic Flow and Status Zero, it captures the unique synergy between both artists, creating an unstoppable momentum that keeps listeners fully engaged. As part of Status Zeros third studio album, the track stands out for its intensity. Cosmic Train delivers a relentless experience. Its a wild, cosmic ride that leaves no room for slowing down. Rowant starts things off with Effector Cell, a wobbly trip marked by mind-warping sequences and subtle 8-bit melodies. Title track Networks follows, its synths ebb and flow playfully as a snappy groove keeps pace before Collecting Thoughts continues by stripping things back for a late-night hug-your-mates dancefloor moment. Closing out the EP, GODDEZZ & Borne Fruits artist Kitsta remixes Collecting Thoughts, putting her own club-ready spin on the track while incorporating the originals melodic elements for an evocative breakdown. London artist Niall Rowley has production credits for labels like Midnight People, Nein Records, and Ure Guay as the Italo and indie-leaning Parallel. Now, he mints new alias Rowant, blending the trippier sides of Techno and House with Networks, a true statement of intent from the artist that, next to his long-running AAJA Radio show and Fantasy Trax label & event collective, promises an outstanding start for the project.

A product of the turbulent early 2020s, Crimson Ride channels the tension of an era when struggle and overindulgence were taking turns. A bloody mess of electrified filth, with voltages dripping all over the place, its a powerful tool for peak-time decadence - if you know how to wield it.
Our 5th digital VA compilation takes you on a trip through different dimensions with tunes by DJ Ali, L-3P aka Ness, Alpha Tracks, Alan Backdrop, GTI, Atikka, Psicotek and Sinic.

Prepare to be mesmerised by Nomas’ dedication to the raw and authentic side of Trance as he unveils his first solo release on JOOF Recordings. Pushing forward at a relentless 140 BPM, this track is a bold, forward-thinking masterpiece that instantly sets him apart. Titled "Remember Me, I’ll Remember You" for a reason, this is a special record that will stay in your playlists for months to come – undoubtedly a future classic of the genre. A truly magnificent slab of Trance music.
Label owner Allan Morrow returns with another hypnotic journey on Strobin Records. Shades is a deep, dark dive into the essence of Classic Trance—where rolling basslines, evolving analog textures, and entrancing melodies collide. With its brooding atmosphere and nod to the golden era of the late 90s and early 2000s, this track delivers that unmistakable hypnotic energy built for pure dancefloor immersion. If youre craving that raw, nostalgic Trance sound, Strobin Records is here to bring it back.
At only nine years old she discovered the sounds of Paul van Dyk and Tiesto via her dads mp3 player. EP title track Silver Current could easily have been plucked out of that late-90s trance era with its introspective melody and angelic vocal samples that shimmer through the guttural kick and pummeling bassline. Garner follows in similar suit but taps into the more aquatic elements of trance and techno; theres sure nods to Mr Oliver Lieb a.k.a LSG in there too
Jamie Baggotts has previous form with us with the seminal Triangulum= from back in 2022. Now he teams up with Passion resident Marc West for a driving and hypnotic 127bpm trance workout entitled The Beginning. This is mesmerizing simplicity at its best, no messing.

Dekmantel continues to shape out the return of its UFO series with an EP of mind-massaging techno-trance futurism from Wata Igarashi. Capturing the energy of the UFO stages which indulge Dekmantel Festivals darker, experimental tastes, Igarashi turns out four shapely serotonin injections in his inimitable style. Theres an immediacy to the Kaleidoscopic 12 which rushes into earshot the moment the EP fires up with the insistent acid throb of the title track. The eternal undulation of a 303 provides the bedrock for Igarashis fluttering brushstrokes, while a tough yet supple beat charges underneath. Cascading arps are a core element of the richly melodic sound on this release, reaching measured peaks of ecstasy on The Sailage without ever taking a cheap shortcut. Understated, emotionally-charged eloquence spills out of every sequence. Theres a softer, blurry-eyed sentiment to the synth work on Steaming, while Interweave tempers classic acid techno tropes with gaseous atmospherics. There are plenty of crisp edges in his tracks for the dancers to latch onto, but Igarashi specialises in a fluid motion that encourages less thinking and more feelinga lysergic techno flow to truly melt into.
This EP is 100\%\% true to the sound I stand for—a blend of techno, trance, and acid. The A-side was created in summer, inspired by festivals and packed with happy energy, while the B-side, made after summer, delivers a raw, club-ready vibe!
Butter Sessions 63rd releaseCome Roundis a pulsating journey that spans so-called Australias east and west coasts, connected by heavyweight producers DJ PGZ and Yikes. The respective Naarm & Boorloo-based DJs artistry culminates in a seven-track EP -- a treasure trove of underground club gems that blend techno, bass and breakbeat in a robust collaboration, including two-cross remixes. The opening cut Solidarity System by Gunai/Kurnai & Yorta Yorta artist DJ PGZ instantly sets the EPs tone, marking its territory on both club floors and outdoor raves. Anchored by pulsating 4x4 kicks, the track builds with flashes of melodic techno flourishes and a wub-laden bassline, which flows seamlessly into his second track Energy Monstera. In this follow-up, the garage-style wub continues, underscored by bass-music staples like siren samples and vocal calls, while maintaining his dark techno style. Wongutha artist Yikes Off to Work Edit intensifies the bass with ample saturation, introducing a triplet-infused rhythm and acid-synth line into his flip. Ouss Ouss stands out as the EPs defining collaboration, capturing the synergy between DJ PGZ and Yikes in their only direct team-up on the record. A deep, commanding vocal anchors the beat, while an irresistible descending synth-line pulls us into a hypnotic groove. Breakbeat accents weave in and out, creating a push-pull effect that both teases and satisfies -- a subtle nod to both artists love for broken percussive textures in this mostly tech-head release. Sidestep offers a first taste of Yikes solo work, where he again hones in on a distorted bassline to drive the track forward. Reverberated melodic elements and effects in the background provide a layered soundscape, with subtle shifts propelling the groove into a trance-like rhythm -- perfect for entrancing a dancefloor. In Check Out That, Yikes features the same iconic sample as Solidarity System, cementing the east-west sonic connection. The tracks bubbling acid-line injects excitement into the mix, evolving the landscape while honouring its dance-first roots. DJ PGZs Rewind Yourself Mix flips Check That Out with deep bass and acid-synths -- by now this EPs unmistakable calling card --, accompanied by subdued, filtered drum programming that hints at the closing chapter of the EP. As the track unfolds, noisy synth pads weave throughout, before the track echoes out to a reflective farewell. An impressive feat from two genre-gliding master producers of their craft!
Going full tech-trance-meets-psy mode on one of trance musics foremost classics, Mark Michael shows why hes currently one of the most exciting artists in his realm. With haunting pads, a throbbing full-on bassline and an enigmatic lead synth recharging the legacy of Solarstone and Scott Bonds original masterpiece, this remix of 3rd Earth is set to earn its place in trance music history.

Were thrilled to welcome the iconic Dutch DJ and producer Jaydee to Bonzai Records with his impressive release, Plastic Tears. Departing from our usual rave-driven style, this track delivers a deep, powerful blend of progressive tech infused with nostalgic undertones. A true legend in the electronic music scene, Jaydees influence remains strong as he performs across Europe and continues to craft remarkable tracks in the studio. Always a pleasure to have him on the label. The release opens with the Original Mix, kicking off with a deep, rolling bassline that pulses with a didgeridoo-like resonance, setting a hypnotic foundation. Chunky, driving beats lock in with crispy hi-hats, creating an irresistible groove. A fierce grungy vocal narrates, while warm Hammond-style piano motifs (no doubt a nod to Plastic Dreams) weave in, adding a soulful touch. Crunchy 303 lines bring raw texture, and bright synth plucks sparkle on top, creating a layered, evolving soundscape perfect for late-night floors. Jaydee is joined by two iconic artists, Manu Riga and Phi Phi, also known as Kayinda, who return to the label with their Dub Remix. After collaborating on multiple projects over the years, the duo officially formed Kayinda, gaining recognition through a series of standout tracks and remixes released on respected labels. With each release, they continue to solidify their presence in the music scene. The remix here takes us into darker territory, driving forward with solid, punchy beats and shimmering hi-hats, creating a deep, hypnotic groove. Layered with rhythmic percussions and droning basses, the energy builds in a moody undercurrent as dark stabs echo in a call-and-response pattern. Trippy, Hammond-style riffs swirl through the mix while Infectious synths pull you in, evoking nostalgic vibes reminiscent of the mighty Plastic Dreams. A truly immersive, late-night journey that is not to be missed.
Time for another amazing release on our label. This time, our dear artist Eli Spiral returns in the excellent company of EYEawake. Were super glad to warmly welcome Carson aka EYEawake to the Deepersense Music family. He is a great DJ/Producer hailing from the USA, deeply rooted in the psychedelic progressive scene. Specializing in Progressive House, Techno, and Psytrance, EYEawakes musical journey spans over half a decade of DJing and over 4 years of dedicated production. Hes well known for infusing the dance floor with ethnic, primal, and psychedelic inspirations from all over the world. Collaborating with such a talented artist as Eli Spiral could not have resulted in anything other than an amazing piece of music that will definitely take you on a deep journey, igniting many dance floors with infectious wild energy at once. To balance this powerful dose of energy, head honcho label CJ Art delivers his vision in the form of a slower, hypnotic and deep, but still driving progressive remix. Fasten your seatbelts and get ready for a sonic voyage into the depths of the brain.
NSDA is thrilled to announce the forthcoming release of Alexis Aitours debut album, Underwater, available on all major DSPs this November. This highly anticipated album marks a significant milestone for the Barcelona-based producer and DJ, showcasing his deep, hypnotic techno sound that pushes the boundaries of the genre. Underwater is inspired by personal growth and spiritual exploration, taking listeners on a sonic journey through Alexis most profound emotions. Each track reflects his personal and spiritual evolution. This album is where I express my deepest feelings, says Alexis. Each song mirrors my new learnings, inviting listeners to discover the hidden secrets of the aquatic depths. The album features 10 meticulously crafted tracks, blending hypnotic rhythms with futuristic melodies. The opening track, Vapor Balm, sets the tone, immersing listeners into Alexis immersive world of sound. Standout tracks like Dogma and Ondina showcase his mastery of fusing classic techno elements with forward-thinking production. The dynamic collaboration Flying Fish with Mermaids On Acid brings extra energy, adding a new dimension to the albums multi-sensory experience. Alexis draws from his experience as both a creator and the owner of SENFINA Music, developing a unique style that breaks away from convention while remaining deeply emotional and passionate. His reputation as a rising star in the techno scene continues to grow, having worked with leading industry figures. Anfisa Letyago, industry giant and DJ of the Year winner (Billboard 2024) and owner of NSDA, has been a long-time supporter of Alexis work. Following his contributions to NSDAs VA Utopia and Reforms EP earlier this year, were excited to welcome him back to the label, this time with his own highly anticipated project.
What took you so long is the extraction of three creative minds on their voyage to explore the psychedelic landscape. This collaboration between Status Zero and tsi is the first track to be released from Two Stupid Idiots - an album that was first imagined in Palolem, Goa, India, and made its journey through Tel-Aviv, Israel, all the way to Berlin, Germany.

Known for his pivotal role in the Acid Techno sub-genre revival through his label, Involve Records, Regals latest work revisits the genres essence while infusing it with a fresh, modern twist. Under his ACIDBOY alias, his latest album, The Final Chapter, is a nostalgic and forward-looking expression of an artist who has grown and adapted but remains true to his core musical identity. This eleven-track project blends the high-energy sounds that first defined his career with the depth and maturity gained over years of evolution whilst also honouring an unforgettable era of one of electronic musics boldest and most expressive sub-genres and artists. The Final Chapter is an album that goes against the current flow, bringing to light the sound of the sub-genres of Techno from the last 35 years. Its a clever balance between past and present, the old and new Regal aka ACIDBOY, emphasising his introverted artistic side, a lover of music and production as well as a story intended for a patient and cultured listener. The album defies superficial musical trends, offering a profound sonic experience that invites listeners on a deeper journey, far removed from the quick-hit tracks designed for social media. The name of this album and Regals previous EP The Last Summer certainly leaves room for interpretation as these might sound like signs of a farewell to the music scene.
For the tenth edition of the Warning 12 series - Secretsundaze, now led by James Priestley, releases his first work under the moniker as a solo venture, marking a new sonic direction for the project. On WAR1210 he delivers two original cuts residing on the A Side, with remixes on the flip. The EP opens with Doesnt This Sun Feel Great, a rising, percussive track that utilises disparate samples and twisted vocal manipulation for a fast paced, dancefloor orientated roller. Progressive in outlook, organic in nature, the track steadily builds throughout, culminating in a deserving, euphoric release. The Real Sun takes the sensibilities of the opening track and leans on its raw, rolling percussive energy, keeping things highly functional and grooving. The B side commences with Druas version of Doesnt This Sun Feel Great. Drawing for a sonic palette quickly becoming synonymous with him, the remix twists and turns in a mesh of psychedelic progressive and hard hitting tech house. To wrap up proceedings Giraffi Dog delivers his captivating 700 Lakeside remix of The Real Sun, pushing boundaries with an inventive score that transforms the original tracks energy.
Focus FL, aka Eric Turco, has delivered a double header thats deep-space soundscapes lives up to the astral title. Blue Neptune eases us into the release, warm synth waves start washing over from the very start producing a Space Manoeuvres-esc reflection which is carried through the whole track. The first break strips it back to floating curtains of sound before Eric punches straight back into the core of the track, a driving wave of ethereal but bass driven texture. Keplar moves us to another corner of the solar system. A more driving track this time coupled with some intricate synth pads deliver a project that could follow Blue Neptune perfectly as well as stand on its own. The stunning synth work weaves in and out of the track showing the detail Eric has written into this release.
Another stunning two-track EP from our very own Sinful Biz. Pumping melodic vibes that bring an almost Balearic vibe but with strong powerful beats and rolling bass lines. This is blissful music that packs an almighty punch. Both tracks work well at a variety of BPMs and work at peak time as well as after hours. We love this music, we love Sinful Biz and we are keen to hear more! Bring on the Sinful Biz album? We hope so!
Sometimes, things take a funny turn. I was about to write a description that wasnt actually a description of this amazing VA. Then I realized Ive done the exact same thing before! But now, the bosses arent hovering over me. Its too early for them. Enjoy our second Variations VA. The Big Boss and our beloved Half Boss have hand-picked some bangers once again. I wonder what wouldve happened if they had foot-picked them instead. Enjoy!
With Joram Smit appearing for a second time on Borderline: R&D, this time the idea took the attention of label owner John Dopping, inviting Joram to collaborate on the track under his Definitions alias. Jorams pure and groovy progressive style appealed to John and the pair embarked on making something that is more reminiscent of some of an earlier era of the Dopping sound, with Joram taking the lead and the result being chunky yet delicate, experimental yet simple and hypnotic.
Label boss Lange is back with another unconventional trancer titled The Last Best Hope. It combines atmospheric pads and classical choir with triplet arpeggiated synths and a soaring saw-wave melody. Dark yet optimistic, the track is interconnected with rolling bass sequences and tribal rhythms.
ENOK (USA) returns with a new 4-track EP on Curiosity Pill, building on the momentum of his summer release, ETHEREAL. Known for his ability to reveal layers of sound and emotion, ENOKs latest work delves deeper into the subtle textures and atmospheres that define his signature style. Each track invites listeners to explore the hidden depths of his sonic world, offering a captivating and immersive experience.
Marc Sprecher aka Mr.Speaker marks his well-deserved debut on Forescape with a ground-breaking piece of deeper Trance music called Adequate Intensity. As the title suggests, this track is based on a groovey rhythmic pattern and intricate melodic hook, accompanied by the unique sci-fi speech and effects. Enjoy this gem all the way from Switzerland!
Force Mass Motions rave Friskee project from the 90s has seen a feverish renewed interest over the past few years. Released initially on FUK Stereophonic Gramophone in 1997, the tracks are remastered and join two previously unheard cuts from the project that were found in a box of DATs and thought lost to time. Opener The Brain Is is a mix of wiry electronics featuring blissed-out ambient synths with turbocharged beats. Add in progressive techno melodies that will get the floor pumping and you have a widescreen and atmospheric gem. The brilliant Virtually You is an almost eight-minute trip with elastic basslines and bouncing drums all doused in lush cosmically minded pads and starry-eyed melodies that have you gazing off into the future. Vapour Trails then gets a little deeper and heads down with warming pads and waves of subtle vocal cries that make the skin tingle. Its a physical yet sensuous sound, and last of all, One Piano brings hints of trance and prog to the thudding drums and fizzled synths, which all surge through a late night sky with a great sense of poignancy and artful craft. Mike Wells is the man behind the Force Mass Motion project, drawing on years of experience as an underground DJ, producer, and label owner. In his storied career, he has done it all, from helping to shape the sound of rave, UK hardcore, and jungle to pioneering the nu-school breaks sound. His music has come on esteemed like Mute, Rabbit City, Lot49 and Kingsize Records and now on his own Force Mass Motion Recordings.
One of our best-selling artists Robert Nickson returns with one his most forceful pieces to date. The 136 bpm Aluminium (Aluminum to our state-side friends!) is all growling synths, tense breakdown and throbbing drop. The lead melody takes inspiration from his Atoms / Molecules releases under his RNX alias with spiralling notes that really get under the skin.
Activas debut single on VII, Velika, gets the remix treatment from two stalwarts of the purist trance sound. Lostly, who needs no introduction takes a hard-hitting approach with a punchy interpretation that is laced with 303 acid lines and his trademark strong kick and off beat bass. Coredata takes things almost in a retro 90s Goa trance direction which works incredibly well on the floor. A brilliant two-track EP that breathes new life into this excellent track from Activa.
Chris Johnsons Locomotion (LOST171) was originally released back in 2020, with a widescreen prog trance remix from EL EL stalwart Relaunch racking up several plays on Paul Van Dyks VONYC Sessions. Top marks. There was clearly more mileage in the originals driving-stabby-vandit esque riff, though - so we were truly made up when Speedmaster Records head honcho / trance pioneer Paul Copping heard it, liked it, and agreed to rework it. Berlin based Speedmaster Records has been (and continues to be) a driving force within the fast, melodic, new school trance scene, releasing high nrg music from Part Time Killer, Funk Tribu, Technokool, and SIOC. With this in mind, Pauls remix of Locomotion finds another ratio gear, pitching things up, and adding a techy Marco V style drive over a tough and chunky groove. Choo-Choo! On the B-Side, Borderline Records boss Activa - who has since signed some of Chriss music (and shared our musings re the untapped old-school-love-parade-energy of Locomotion) has given us the rework hes been playing out in his sets. A faithful re-spray that tightens, tunes, and touches things up in all the right places. EL EL 24
Taken from Solarstones In Search of Sunrise 20 compilation, this is a chunky, tribal, progressive Balearic thumper from these two UK producers. Sinful Biz has previous releases with Magnetic and Come Around Sundown but this is the debut release from Façade with us.
Time for another very strong release! Lets warmly welcome Stephen Moon aka Puresine with his debut EP on the Deepersense Music label. Stephen is a very talented and experienced artist from the USA composing music under various aliases. This splendid two-track release created under his Puresine alias is called The Ritual of Exchange and the title is not without significance, on the contrary, it has its important backstory. These tracks are both in memory of one of his best friends, Brad Humphrey, who died last year. Brad was big into studying philosophy, esoteric knowledge, and alchemy. So, this is a nod to the law of equivalent exchange. The law of equivalent exchange in alchemy means that something cannot come from nothing. In order to obtain a particular something, something else of equivalent value must be given in exchange or lost. Essentially, if you want to gain something, you must give something in return. This beautiful EP is in honor of the memory and a celebration of Brads life. If you are a connoisseur of deep musical journeys, and we assume that most of Deepersense Musics fans are, this is definitely something for you!
Omni meaning all-encompassing is an apt title for celebrating over a decade of existence of Blue Hour Music. Marking the musical diversity and longevity of Blue Hours imprint, the Omni V/A series brings together a wide range of artists from the full electronic music spectrum, plunging into a pool of techno, trance, breaks and everything in between.
Spekki Webu, DJ Ibon, Tracing Xircles, Ryan James Ford, DJ MARIA., Levzon, Hasvat Informant, Matriark, DJ Ali, Newa
Following last years Cyber Sunshine single and Vantage Point EP, plus the formers expansion into a Deluxe Remix Pack EP just this Spring, trusty Dutch trance traders Match Box are miraculously back with their fourth consecutive glistening Goddezz release. This time, its a double offering whose boundless celestial charm again centres around the star we owe it all to: think of High En3rgy as the sunset daydream and Clints remix the sunrise epiphany. Spanning 8 minutes and 7 seconds that slip by all too soon, High En3rgy is a lucent, dreamlike journey not easily forgotten. Layering a faintly melancholic and hauntingly simple melody over a nonetheless pulsating bassline, it accomplishes something rare: an emotive marrying of the wistful and the rousing. The effect is a plucky, heartening sound that walks a tightrope between nostalgic reflection and enduring anticipation. Its delicate yet driving - the gorgeous sonic expression of a sunset daydream that could leave you leaning either way. Whether you emerge from that musing trance with a lump in your throat or a fire in your belly, Clints remix is the impossibly ideal next step. Faithfully refracting its originators sound whilst instantly supercharging the mood from spirited to high-spirited, its giddy rhythm and buoyant-turned-bouncy beat inject pure, immediate, perhaps emergency enlivenment. Its more than fun, playful or invigorating: its irresistibly, heroically stirring - and once its sunrise synths come scorching over the horizon, youre passing through gleeful exhilaration into sublime elation, with no hope of holding back any tears.
