AIRE FRESCO is a single from VIBRACID, the upcoming (Mini-Album) by Calagad 13. In this track, the DJ and producer revisits some of his lyrics from the 90s, during the MC era, and presents them to us in two instrumental versions full of bass.
MORFEiN - ANTIBODY A fractured dream of rhythm and resistance. MORFEiN merges electros machine pulse with breakbeats raw momentum-glitching between control and chaos. Deep bass, jagged percussion, and warped synths collide in a dystopian dance. The sound of movement, mutation, and the unknown. Key tracks such as VOZKAL and GOT DA BASS dig in with a tight bass line and ruthless beat, while HANOI HANNAH and TIKI TACHA capture with dynamic drive and hypnotic synths. MORFEiN is the soundtrack for dark clubs, underground parties and true connoisseurs of rough but euphoric electro sound.

Five years is a long time. For many, 2020 seems like a lifetime ago. It was in this fabled year that Ekman last appeared on Shipwrec, Kronkel marking a shift from the blackened acid blooms to more considered, yet unsettling, sounds. It is from this audio fount the dutchman returns with Elixer. Throbs of bass and rasping snares shear a path for smoother tones in Alruin Met Cranberry. Injecting the ever-present sense of unease, a menacing melody stalks the constricting recesses as paranoia takes hold. These inner alcoves are further explored in the disturbing Doornappel Met Peer. Spectral synthlines don a thin shimmering veil, warbling notes tremble while beats offer little relief in this unstable outing. Aquatic undercurrents introduce the flip, a sharp drum slicing through the burbling bass of Codeine En Rozemarijn. From this murky soup, a string ascends as Ekman toys with contrasting tones to produce a piece of acid dipped elegance. Shattered drums pierce the ambient fog of the finale. Alsem Met Anijs blends intricate percussion with soulful strings to produce a hauntingly beautiful dreamscape to finish Ekmans heady brew.

Following the overwhelming success of the first part, which captivated both critics and underground scene followers, Calagad 13 returns with CYBERPHUNK EXPANSION, an LP that expands the boundaries of its sonic universe and solidifies its place as one of the most innovative and creative figures in contemporary electronic scene.
This debut release is a collaboration between two renowned Dutch labels, Zodiak Commune Records and Shipwrec, both with decades of rich history. This collaboration fused experimental electronics driven by Rolands TB 303s with IDM, electro, and jungle influences, aiming to provide thought-provoking music for both the dance floor and relaxed listening amid todays oversaturated dance music scene. Enter the Ghost Ship ep, is the work of G303, a Zodiak Commune Records resident producer, stepping out of his hard acid comfort zone to explore a more emotional, dystopian, and sophisticated sound. The EP kicks off appropriately with The Beginning, a fast-paced musical journey through the producers mind, with the TB 303 as one of the main characters in the story. No more titles left starts off slow and quiet, only to build up into some nineties inspired IDM vibes, featuring the famous Think break. Airport test - a collaboration with Zodiak Communes other resident producer Dima Gaströller - is probably the most dance floor orientated track on the EP, with the deep 808 style kick drum leading you through a dystopian field of drums, eerie synths and, as expected, a 303 bass line. Monday again is a deep and dark serenade to the least cheerful day of the week, but youll soon discover that even Mondays can be inspiring. Closing track Jan calling was inspired by the beauty and tranquillity of G303s home base of Ibiza in the month of January. When all the tourists are gone and only the locals are left on the island, it truly becomes a piece of paradise. The crystal clear waters and deserted beaches bring an unprecedented calm before a new summer frenzy.
Cosmic Tribe presents Odisea en el Abismo, the second release by EC13. In this two-track EP, the artist delves deeper into his narrative, with a dark, epic style and a progressive atmosphere that will keep you on the edge thanks to its immersive sound.
EPM Selected Vol. 10 features twelve tracks from the EPMmusic archive with a focus to the left of the dancefloor; embracing electro, electronica, breaks, dub techno and the cracks in between. Volume 10 brings together EPM regulars such as Cristian Vogel, Oliver Way, Techmarine Bottom Feeders, Freddy Fresh and Theiz, alongside great tracks from Arno Vancolen, Carl Taylor, The Third Man, Athens Computer Underground, Ballet Mechanique and Paul Mac. Involved in the electronic music scene since 2001, EPMmusics label has over 120 releases to its name from a glittering spectrum of todays techno, house, electronica and electro pioneers. Nurturing a core set of artists has seen the label pick up numerous accolades, support and global recognition to become an established dance music force. As a snapshot into how we got here, the 10th instalment of our Selected series goes crate-digging in the vaults. We start Vol. 10 with a glitched out dub-techno excursion as Cristian Vogel takes on Arno Vancolens Substance #2 before we hit classic Lowlands 90s IDM via the shimmering understatement of Ballet Mechaniques Echo Catcher. Oliver Ways The Fabulous Mr. Baker, a track dedicated to the sadly departed techno and house producer, Tim Baker, builds upon layered pads and heart-felt keys, evoking the sound of early 90s Artificial Intelligence era techno. Having just released his fifth release on EPM, we trackback to Theizs debut album of 2023 with A Beautiful Off Day, washing over us with sun-dappled warmth and emotive melodies before Modulator (aka Freddy Fresh) gets a full-throated electro remix from Berlin based duo, CYRK with his track ProMars that first appeared in EPMs 20 year celebrations. Squid Ink Posse is a lesser-known track from Paris the Black Fus Techmarine Bottom Feeders alias but no less worthy of a fresh look, as its sinister electro sonics fit perfectly with todays uncertain times. Paul Macs quick step into rave breaks with Nothing Remains is the albums peak dancefloor moment, bringing an euphoric tempo rush and then The Third Mans Beneath the Mine Chamber takes us back into the bass-driven underworld of schizophrenic techno. Carl Taylors 2012 album True Faith remains a landmark release for the label, so its always a pleasure to shine a light back on this techno treasure. This time we head for the headphones with Guiding Light which gets a wonderful 2024 remaster by the mighty Chris McCormack. Athens Computer Underground takes us into a world of subtle 303 basslines and deft early AFX driven melody with the bubbling and mesmerising Cantharidine from 2020s All Lovers Young EP before Cristian Vogel dives back into the depths with more dub infused electronics on the sublime EarthSea from his continuous NEL adventures. Finally, Freddy Fresh emerges for a second time as we delve into his all-genre encompassing 35 Years of Music opus via the modular prism of Caledonia, a track drenched with introspective melody and the subtle touch of a true master.

Central Processing Unit releases have all been logged in an eight-bit binary numbering system ever since the Sheffield label arrived on the scene with Cygnus 2012 LPNewmark Phase. With 256 variations allowed for in the binary catalogue, CPU now hit the halfway point more than a dozen years into their run. In that time the imprint has grown into one of the most celebrated voices in contemporary electro, its monochrome sleeve design reaching iconic status and early releases trading for big money in certain circles. As such,CPU128 Classicsserves as both a victory lap and a line in the sand, a survey of some of the highs in the imprints discography and a second chance for CPU aficionados to get their hands on out-of-print material. And where else to begin but with a track from the very first CPU release? Red District Girls, a choice cut fromNewmark Phase, is as perfect a scene-setter now as it was all those years ago. This is a number which brings the Drexciya sound into the present day, offsetting some whip-smart drum tracking and a grizzled synth bassline with brilliantly eerie keys higher in the mix. CPUs reputation as a premier purveyor of modern machine-funk has been built on tracks like Red District Girls. This lineage is unsurprisingly well represented onCPU128 Classics. From DMX Krews clattering Not Very to Jensen Interceptors gurgling mActavis, Mikrons vroom-vrooming Sleep Paralysis to the stentorian punch of MNLTHs Flektro,CPU128 Classicsis bursting full of mutated dancefloor tackle. Its as true now as it was back in 2012 - if youre looking for broken-beat 808s, sidewinder bass and synths which sound like theyve been beamed in from deep space, then CPU is your go-to. However, just because the label is well-known for that particular sound doesnt meanCPU128lacks variation. Far from it - indeed, while post-Warp synth-work remains an overarching principle here, this collection demonstrates just how far the label casts its net in sonic terms. Take, for instance, more cerebral offerings like CNs Stellar Awakening. The track still shares a clear point of origin with something like Red District Girls, but theres an altogether more carefree feeling to this nugget of sun-kissed electro that sets the scene for another lane of CPUs output, one of cerebral synth exploration indebted to ats like Boards of Canada. This is truer still on Mrs Jynxs Diving Loop - with softly keening synth pads offset by only faint pitter-patter drums, Diving Loop is a beautiful piece of dawn chorus electronica which proves yet again that the robots have feelings too. While the final joint here, Microliths 2016 offering Dance With Me, is still forged on piston-precise drum programming and a cornucopia of bleep-bloop synths, the tracks uplifting bounce is a world away from the foreboding feeling of some of this records darker joints. As such, its a perfect way to close outCPU128 Classics, an album which celebrates Central Processing Units past in order to look to the future. Heres to 128 more.
Cygnus, CN, Plant43, Mrs Jynx, Automatic Tasty, DMX Krew, MNLTH, Mikron, Jensen Interceptor, Morphology, Microlith

Andy Garvey returns with her second EP release on Pure Space and the fifth EP in her ever-evolving discography. Mastermind explores the dystopian edge of creativity in the digital age - where innovation wrestles with commodification, and connection clashes with chaos. Opening with the Mastermind (Tek Mix), the EP launches into foreboding synthesis and a hypnotic pulse, reflecting the restlessness to disconnect from the endless noise. The Deep Mix offers a more meditative twist, pulling the same driving energy into murkier depths. Two remixes close out the EP with commanding flair. al dente sharpens the originals edges, injecting razor-sharp percussion and undeniable bass momentum, while LOIF deconstructs Mastermind into a swirling, percussive reimagination steeped in eerie atmospherics. Mastermind was born from a period of stasis - a creative block amplified by the demands of life and the weight of impactful decisions. It marks a re-emergence into purposeful execution, a declaration of timelessness, and a reminder that even after silence, the rhythm never really stops.

The title track Electro Nautica takes control fast yet builds on ingredients of eventual ghostly watery pads, intriguing compliments via acid lines, and a classic electro rhythm right for the taste buds of those who are seeking further visions of the early Detroit electro sound. Tekka is equally magnetic with its bouncy electro foundation and absolutely funky arpeggiated lysergic soaked basslines while freaky vocoders and a nice chopped up vocal progression create their own melody just as effective as the haunting pads complimenting the ominous atmospheres of the track; the result is a seamless expansion into mental territories as well energetic dynamics. Submersible for the deep, and playing for keeps, the Electro Nautica EP by FFriend delivers in a way that is both highly danceable and unique for the DJs and freaks.

Goodbye Esmond, Hello Kelvin is a lockdown-inspired exploration of electronic music, diverging from the techno-centric approach of Moduss previous releases and delving into diverse tastes which have informed his musical background. Whilst the doof comfort blanket doesnt feature, youll still find plenty of nods towards classic Detroit electro, European house, UK IDM, ambient & Japanese electronica. The end result is a melodic expanse of 15 superb tracks, with these influences charting a linear path across the release. Inspiration for the title comes from two Glasgow streets, with half of the album written at each. These surroundings have left a permanent mark on both Modus and the music.
Two years after the release of the Polarius EP Inner Voices Of A Clown, Danny Wolfers returns to Altered Circuits, this time under his best-known alias Legowelt, for Ruins Of Cracktopolis: a collection of hymns to survive the dystopian circus of todays techno scene in the artists own words. On Do You Know Who You Never Be, a short staccato lead and dark chords revolve around a monolithic kick drum pattern that takes care of the cadence and bass. A mysterious vocoder and a laser sequence that gets torn and twisted to the max join, but the track never loses its steady pace - it gets help from shakers so much mixed to the front they could be lifted from a Bmore track. Amidst the effervescing 303 lines and bold drum sequences of In A Trance Dance All Night Wolfers finds a canvas for a stretched synthesizer jam with eighties breaking allure. This melody, together with the pads and vocal, are drenched in reverb - they float like mist ascending from the The Hague dunes. Throughout Ruins Of Cracktopolis, more vintage Dutch West Coast, the hiss-laden broken beat that guides the bass sequences and ominous blippy synth patterns switches to a 4/4 structure and back. These make for captivating shifts in pace while the minor progressions continue unfolding. Like Twin Peaks targets prime energy once the arpeggiator sequence present from the start lowers an octave. The track runs smooth like a pomade slick-back; its only tempered slightly when the crunchy kick and tom change place for a moody chord sequence break. Even if these four tracks target the club, they are equally suited for - quoting Wolfers again - leisurely home listening. Their greatest strengths are, as so often, their melodic aspects. The artist is known to be a synthesizer aficionado, but his unique personal touch immediately shines through no matter which gear he works with. The machines never seem to dominate the composing process; quite the opposite: its as if he isnt programming or registering as much as trying to teach them his take on electronic music.

The title track, My Vision Of Space, is the heart of the EP, offering a hypnotic fusion of acid lines and cosmic rhythms. Belaria, the labels founder, adds her own take with a slower remix that retains the originals soaring energy, emphasizing its atmospheric depth while giving it a more expansive feel. My Vision Of Space is an ambitious and timeless exploration of sound. Available on vinyl and digital, this release marks a bold start for Binding System.

Radioactive Man (Keith Tenniswood) presents his 6th album Jam Out The Kicks released on self-operated label Asking For Trouble this November 28th. Written while immersed in the throes of touring over the last four years - the album showcases Tenniswoods singular sound, honed for the international dance floors that he is charged with. Jam Out The Kicks will be released on a triple 12 vinyl package with artwork by renowned artist Lung. Working together UK rave, jungle, breakbeat and Detroit electro and techno the album plays between these different genres and styles. It brings the grit, joy, grime and funk but also with a big lot of heart in its sensitive softer elements and moments. Opening track Under The Counter has been the lead to his live performances - soft and gleaming and with deep warm bass tones its his reset track to set the tone for the set. We then move into slap bass funk on See Above and through the many sounds on the release - from dense textured and kicking techno to bass heavy rave. Curveball on the release is Sinkhole starting out as a collaboration with Suade Bergemann, vocallists Ali Love and Chloe Raunet (C.A.R) both put their touch on it. Its just one example of Radioactive Mans desire not to want to be held down to any one sound and to always be developing and moving forward. 2024 also saw the UK producer put out I Dont Want This Sort Of Thing in My House EP with Ben Pest on Asking For Trouble and the release of a long lost Two Lone Swordsmen album Still My World on Rotters Golf Club for Record Store Day in April. Jam Out The Kicks is the UK producers first solo LP since 2017s Luxury Sky Garden, which also saw the launch and beginnings of Asking For Trouble. Since he has nearly exclusively released his own productions on AFT and that of his close and respected friends and peers having full creative control. Live sets in 2024 have seen him take in South America, Sydneys Royal Opera House, Bonanza Festival, in the jungle of Colombia, to Dimensions in Tisno, Croatia to Craig Richards Houghton Hall, which saw him debut his first Live / AV set of his career. 2025 will see him tour the A/V show in the UK and Europe (to be announced). 2024 - More traveling and playing live around the planet than ever before, the time has come to stop deliberating and actually release some of this music. The album has been made in reverse, live jams and sequences are then taken into the studio and developed into trax. An interesting if long way to go around crafting these mostly dancefloor tunes. Hence this album has taken 4 years to develop and finally nail. I wanted it to keep the feel of a live set - rough, raw and constantly changing - Radioactive Man
Radioactive Man, Ali Love, Suade Bergemann, Chloé Raunet
