The unknown- untitled imprint returns for a six-track EP engineered for dark rooms and tight mixes, channeling a raw, high-energy sound with anonymity at its core. As always, the producers remain unnamed until the digital release on May 30th, following the vinyl release on May 16th. unknown - untitled is a producer and DJ as well as concept-led label founded in 2020. The imprint lets the quality of the track - rather than the artist - dominate the experience, with previews for each release shared without artist details, only revealing names on the record sleeve. Across the EP, expect a full-spectrum club experience - from brooding halftime beats to razor sharp percussive workouts. A1 sets the tone with a lurching techy stepper that mutates mid-to-late 00s minimal D&B motifs into something altogether more sinister. A2 keeps the break-forward sound moving, with a high energy unit shifter. A3 rides a locked groove mentality from the jump, before saturated leads and ethereal strings elevate it to a track with huge personality. B1 is a system rattling, cinematic juggernaut.
