We are very excited to welcome scud to All Centre for his debut solo release. The Essex-born, London-based DJ, producer and co-head-honcho of 3 Swords Republic makes his mark with two tracks of tripped-out dancefloor chaos. The title track brings us into a heady atmosphere with a spaced-out drone, machinic fx and clipped percussion. Crashing breaks give way to heavy subweight, a glitched vocal hook and a modulating bassline - straddling the line between DnB energy and a heads-down low tempo feel. On the flip, etos_atos adopts a dancehall-inspired groove which furiously swings with driving subs and nimble percussion. A siren-pitched, stuttering vocal warps over heavy, propulsive percussion, conjuring a chaotic sonic atmosphere anchored firmly to the floor by bass-heavy kicks. Hip flesk is available across all digital platforms from June 20th.
