Calling all the Ladies, gentlemen and bassheads around the world. Have we got a treat for you with this latest Jungle Cakes release of Welcome to the Jungle. Weve taken 90 tracks. Thats right, 90 tracks of absolute bangers and handed them over to our very own JFB to mix, scratch and quite frankly, do what he does best with. Originally from Brighton, JFB is a 3 x world dmc dj champion, so it goes without saying that when asked to do a Welcome to the jungle album, he went all out. Armed with 2 turntables and a bucket load of skills, JFB takes massive hits like King of the Bongo and Bad Boys by Ed Solo and Deekline, Home Grown by Beat Assassins and 10 Steps by Kleu & solo and puts his very own spin on them. (pardon the pun). Other hits on the album include Redline the system by Morty & Jax with some seriously heavy bassline and some wicked vocals. Shine On by Origin8a, Propa & Benny Page, 3 pioneers of DnB all on one track. And Balang Beng by Punky Donch, adding some high tempo jungle to the mix. JFB has also thrown in 10 exclusive tracks of his own onto the album: Battlemaster, Lost jungle, The only Good System, Dappa Dan, Funky Dope, Going Home, One Blood, My Style, The Globulator and Upper cut. Theres now doubting this summer. With this album, your tents gonna be bouncing more than the festival itself. For licencing & label enquires, please contact Martin Flex: martin@hotcakesmusic.com

The third single off the forthcoming album by Killa P & Numa Crew is a reggae-tinged steppa tune. Love Inna We Heart is a plea for unity and love. The song features two very talented artists on the vocal: the South-London grime mc Long Range, that has been a big collaborator of both Killa P and Numa Crew in the last years, and Charlie P, that has been one of the most followed UK reggae and dub singers lately. The combination of these artists on this track highlights a type of sound that Numa Crew has developed in recent years; mixing dub and grime vibes in an infused of ethereal melodies, rough drums and dirty bass sounds. The result is a perfect representation of the sound system culture without any kind of stylistic barriers.
Mosh Pit was originally released on our sister label Gorilla Warfare back in 2020 by Deekline, Specimen A, ft Killa P and MC Ivory. 4 years later ALR has gone in on the remix to be released on Jungle Cakes. Faster, tighter, with an industrial jump up feel. Booming robotic sounding subs, muffled kicks and loads of industrial FX this is a must for the listeners playlist and DJs USBs. ALR is known for his high energy sets and innovative production style. This unique sound caught the attention of the Jungle Cakes label team and the Mosh Pit remix was born! Numa Recordings presents the second single off the forthcoming album by Killa P and Numa Crew. Different Life sees them linking up with London based MC Lady Lykez creating an energetic track that keeps the feet moving and the body shaking. The instrumental is a tropical infusion of hypnotic flutes, rolling drums and pounding bass. A vibrant carnival jam that blends grime & dancehall moods with African kuduro.
