#39 Feat. Hype in Trance (Main Floor)

Each time Roman Messer puts forward a studio album, the LP tells the story of where he is now musically and how he came to be there. Weve seen it happen five times by now, most recently with an album that was Romans love letter to uplifting trance specifically - and now, as the summer of 2025 takes hold, Roman unveils his sixth one, with a new theme to it. Serendipity. The title is, of course, no accident - its a glimpse of Romans outlook on life and how he sees himself being where he is today and why, musically and personally - and, in Romans own words, this album is something of a reflective journey through the past two years for him, a journey that he invites the listener on. Its easy to attribute Romans success in the world of trance music to his work ethic, to his musical talent, to his passion for the genre, but Roman himself thinks that it might as well owe at least a certain bit to his intuition and to the ability to harness some lucky observations and channel them into exciting prospects that he didnt exactly plan in detail at first. Its a theme thats been on Romans mind lately - self-admitted - and, in a way, this album is an exploration of that. Spread across two discs - a first for Roman - Serendipity sees the producer explore the familiar sounds of mainstream trance music in the first part before diving into the world of dream dance, as Roman calls it, on the second disc. Dream dance? Dream trance? By any name, its a sound that Roman has dipped his toes into only somewhat recently, but has quickly discovered that it has become one of his favorite styles to produce. A serendipitous musical discovery, indeed, a happy little accident harnessed into new passion, if you will - and also a rather natural reason to split the album into two discs or two sides. Solo works, collaborations with familiar artists and new faces alike - its all here, across the 23 tracks that comprise the album. Alex M.O.R.P.H., Christina Novelli, FEEL, NoMosk and more return to work with Roman again, while newer studio partners like Rocco, Alexander Popov, ThoBa, or Inrayzex lend their creative input to bangers just as massive. Theres everything on the album: progressive beats, hands-in-the-air massive uplifting records, upbeat and lightweight dreamy tunes, fully original compositions and cover works alike - and it all comes together in the biggest album package in Romans discography so far. A milestone as always, Serendipity is yet another chapter in Roman Messers music career. Another snapshot of where I am on this music journey, another invitation to follow along, and a tribute to those insightful discoveries. Highlighting Romans newfound exciting musical passions that broaden his body of work, Serendipity is a perfect kickstarter for this summer!
